Sliding Windows

Fairview sliding windows can be either horizontal or vertical sliding (double hung which can include a pivot sash, allowing the window to tilt in for ease of cleaning). They are perfect for restricted spaces, like above kitchen benches or where protrusion beyond the building is not an option. The windows ride on purpose designed rollers, making for smooth movement without that “rattle” when being opened & closed.

Another option to this range is the stacker window which is an extension of the sliding window & has two panels stacking behind each other; this allows added window space to be opened up.

All options in this range can be easily fitted with insect screens which can be really appreciated in the summer. Standard key locks are used for vertical & horizontal designs; other options are available on request. Clearance is unrestricted for both horizontal & vertical sliding windows. Ventilation is excellent but there is no protection from the elements, they need to be closed in bad weather.
